The Amur Shipping Company was established in the middle of the 19th century, during the beginning of navigation on the Amur River. Today, the company is the absolute leader in the Russian Far East in terms of freight traffic on navigable rivers of the Amur River basin.

Amur Shipping Company owns marine and river vessels (96 units) with a total deadweight of more than 200 thousand tons, including mixed-type vessels of the river-sea class, dry cargo vessels, barge tow trains.
